Our team had a great time at SEAT this year connecting with like-minded professionals in the venue technology space. Year over year, we get a chance to network and collaborate with leaders from the largest venues in sports and entertainment. Plus, the conference was held at one of the most well-known venues in the country, Daytona International Speedway!

SEAT Kick-Off: Start Your Engines with Appetize, Corning & Extenet

Before the conference began, we partnered up with Extenet and Corning for a happy hour event to kick off SEAT. Themed appropriately, Start Your Engines, attendees and vendors alike got together at Rock Bottom Brewery, where we filled the space with over 300 guests.

Appetize Live Demonstrations and Interactive Booth Display

Our latest venue technology includes quick service and self-service products that were on display in the Appetize booth. This includes our floor standing self-service kiosk with the menu-driven interface, Appetize Interact. The team demonstrated how venue guests can make orders and process payments all on their own. Therefore, businesses would see an increase in revenue streams and larger orders. 

Alongside our self-service kiosk, we displayed our point of sale terminals and handheld POS devices showcasing our quick-service functionality, Activate. All of these tied into our back office management tools, Connect, and Kitchen Display System for back office and kitchen management. 

Appetize & AT&T Center: Using Data to Make Actionable Business Decisions

During the SEAT Education Session, The Cultural Sift: Making Data Actionable, our VP of Sales, Perry Teague, was joined on stage by the VP of Finance for AT&T Center, Joe Loomis. They shared how working together has increased revenue for AT&T Center, powering the home of the San Antonio Spurs.

Specifically, since AT&T Center implemented Appetize Interact self-service kiosks, they saw an 18% increase in average order size. Joe Loomis and his team utilize the new data and analytics from this implementation to make actionable business decisions with venue technology to drive sales and improve the guest experience.
